To celebrate World Poetry Day, here are some of our attempts at coffee-themed poems!
Morning Brew.
In dawn's soft light, a ritual begins,
The kettle hums, the grinder spins.
Aromatic whispers fill the air,
As coffee beans release their flair.
A cup of warmth to start the day,
Chasing shadows, driving grey away.
With every sip, a gentle sigh,
As morning's calm begins to fly.
Espresso Symphony.
In the heart of bustling streets,
Amidst the crowd's hurried beats,
A symphony in a tiny cup,
Where time slows down, and worries are supped.
Bold and rich, like midnight's kiss,
Each drop, a moment of bliss.
A dance of flavours on the tongue,
In this espresso, worlds are sung.
Café Serenade.
In the corner of a cosy nook,
Pages turn and thoughts partook.
A melody of whispers rise,
In the haven of coffee's guise.
A refuge from the outside storm,
Where dreams take shape and hearts reform.
With every sip, a verse is spun,
In this café, where souls are won.
